Beginner AMC 8 Prep

Students will master key concepts from algebra, geometry, counting and probability, and number theory, enhancing their problem-solving skills for the AMC 8 math competition. This course offers targeted practice, strategic approaches, and expert guidance to help students excel and build a strong mathematical foundation for future contests.

Week 2a: Angles & basic triangles (Andrew)

 

Week 2b: Circles (Daniel)

 

Week 3a: Factorials, permutations, & combinations (Andrew)

 

Week 3b: Pascal’s triangle & binomial theorem (Daniel)

 

Week 4a: Divisibility rules & Modular arithmetic (Andrew)

 

Week 4b: Review! (All teachers)
