Beginner AMC 8 Prep

Students will master key concepts from algebra, geometry, counting and probability, and number theory, enhancing their problem-solving skills for the AMC 8 math competition. This course offers targeted practice, strategic approaches, and expert guidance to help students excel and build a strong mathematical foundation for future contests.

Andrew Wong

Hi everyone!
I’m Andrew Wong, and a rising sophomore at The King’s Academy. I’ve been doing competition math ever since I fell in love with it during sixth grade. I am a two time AMC 8 honor roll recipient, as well as a two time AIME qualifier. Outside of math, I enjoy being part of my school’s robotics team as well as playing tennis and chess.

Daniel Yang

Hi everyone!
I’m Daniel Yang, a rising sophomore at The King’s Academy. I’ve been doing competition math for a while, but I really started focusing on it in middle school. Since then, I have qualified for AIME. I love coding in C++/Python and playing table tennis. I love the way that math is so creative and broad in applications! Seeing everything fit together while solving problems is the best part of math for me.

Hi everyone!
I’m Aiden and I’m a rising sophomore at Bellarmine College Prep. I enjoy golf and STEM, esp math contests! My STEM experience includes being an AIME math contest qualifier with Distinction, Stanford Math Circle member, NASA-sponsored world champion FRC Robotics TEAM 254 member, and Advanced Robotics graduate with a Robotics Specialist Predegree. I’ve TA’d for middle school math and robotics, and currently serve as a STEM facilitator and math facilitator with Breakthrough Silicon Valley.
